How To Get There

Welcome to our farms and craft studios. As you travel the back roads of New Hampshire in our glorious foliage season, follow the Sheep Signs to each Stop on our Tour. There is no set order to the Tour. The numbers on the map are for reference only. We encourage you to start wherever you want, to set your own pace and visit those Stops which interest you most. People often ask how long the Tour takes. We can’t say because each person’s interests dictate how much time will be spent at each Stop. Some people take three hours; others will spread their visit over the three days. Be certain we do not intend to rush you. We only ask that you leave your dogs at home; they upset our animals.

All six Stops surround the town of Hillsboro(ough) in South Central NH; so for convenience, the directions to each is written from the intersection of West Main Street and the McDonalds restaurant. To get to Hillsboro:

From Concord, NH and points east:

I-93 S toward I-89/MANCHESTER/LEBANON. (go 2.8 miles)
Take I-89 N. (go 8.2 miles)
Take the US-202 W/RT-9 W exit, EXIT 5, on the LEFT toward HENNIKER/KEENE. (go 0.6 miles).
Follow US-202/NH-9. (go 14.0 miles)
Take the US-202 W exit in Hillsboro toward RT-149/PETERBOROUGH. (go 0.5 miles)
McDonalds is on your left. (go 0.3 miles)
W MAIN ST. is the light signaled intersection ahead

Take the RT-9 E. (go 0.2 miles)
Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto NH-10/NH-9/FRANKLIN PIERCE HWY. Continue to follow NH-9. (go 24.2 miles)
Take the US-202/Rt 149 exit in Hillsboro.
Follow exit ramp to the right.

Start out going south on RT-10/Dart College Hwy toward Yankee Barn Rd. Continue to follow RT-10 S. (go 10.9 miles)
Enter next roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto RT-10 S. (go 5.55 miles).
Turn slight left onto Washington Rd/RT-31. Continue to follow RT-31. (go 8.85 miles)
Turn right onto Lempster Mountain Rd. (.08 miles past Ames Rd)
If you are on N Main St and reach Half Moon Pond Rd you've gone about 0.1 miles too far (go 1.12 miles)
232 LEMPSTER MOUNTAIN RD is on the right.

1 SPRING POND FARM

Go SOUTH on ANTRIM RD/US-202. (Road is across the street from the restaurant)
Continue to follow US-202. (Hillsboro Ford on your left) (go 6.1 miles)
At stop, Turn LEFT onto MAIN ST/US-202/NH-31. Continue to follow US-202. (go 5.1 miles)
Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto KIMBALL RD. (go 0.2 miles). Turn LEFT onto FOREST RD. – sign for Greenfield State Park(go 1.6 miles)
Turn LEFT onto OLD BENNINGTON RD (Portions unpaved). (go 0.3 miles)
Turn RIGHT onto COUNTY RD (Portions unpaved). (go 0.6 miles)
Turn LEFT onto MUZZY HILL RD (Portions unpaved). (go 0.3 miles)
Spring Pond Farm is on the LEFT.

2 WINDFALL FARM

Start out going WEST on W MAIN ST. (Pass Rite Aid on your right) (go 1.4 miles)

Turn LEFT onto OLD NORTH BRANCH RD (Portions unpaved). (go 0.0 miles)

3 SPINNER FARM

Start out going EAST on W MAIN ST. (Irving station on your left, Shaws on your right.)(go 1.4 miles)
Turn RIGHT at onto BRIDGE ST/NH-149. (At lighted intersection downtown Hillsboro)
